Celebrating Five Years of FIMM

Have you subscribed to Communication FUNdamentals’ RSS Feed?  Don’t miss a post! x It's Good Friday so before I get started with our special Friday Funny Festivities, I want to take some time to wish you all a blessed Good Friday.  Today's the day my son and I make Resurrection Cookies and read the Resurrection story in the Bible. Well, as I said, this week is also a very special Friday Funnies week because Foot in Mouth Man's five year anniversary was this past Tuesday. FIMM began his misadventures five years ago this month!  April 19th, 2006 to be exact. I dunno or Let it Go

Have you subscribed to Communication FUNdamentals’ RSS Feed?  Don’t miss a post! x We're getting near the end of Grace Month. Just a few more posts to go and then I'll have a seminar on Grace and Godly Communication with even more information on this topic and a chance for you to get involved in the discussion and share your thoughts and experiences on the topic. Christian Pizza

Have you subscribed to Communication FUNdamentals’ RSS Feed?  Don’t miss a post! x It's Tax Day and we all need a giggle.  This Friday Funny is brought to you by my dd and her college friend. My dd emailed this to me the other day from college.  Her friend had ordered pizza to be delivered to the Baptist Collegiate Ministry and it came with this receipt. They say God is in the details, but I didn't think He was into pizza delivery!  If you notice, it says, "Your pizza experience managed by Christ." Now I'm sure that a Christopher (or Christine) must be the manager of this pizza establishment, but I think it serves to remind us that God...

Disagreeing in Grace 3&4

Have you subscribed to Communication FUNdamentals’ RSS Feed?  Don’t miss a post! x On Monday we discussed the first two rules of disagreeing in grace.  Rules three and four involve being calm and concentrating on the issues rather than the person's character. 3. Be Calm The best way to share your views with anyone is in a calm and rational manner.  The more passionate you are about a topic, the harder that will be.  When you give a speech, being passionate about it is beneficial, but when you are trying to change someone's mind or heart, it is a deterrent.  Nobody wants to be forced into accepting something.  They want to come to their own conclusions after hearing all the...
