Happy Birtl Day, Chris!

Today is my son's 13th birthday and I had planned to dispense with my usual discussion of communication to share a little bit about him with my readers.  Here's part of what I had planned to share.  This is a very fuzzy picture of him winning the Youth Cart Racing League over at K1 Racing.  He holds the undefeated title of fastest lap ever at that location in all the years they have been open.  This includes some professional race car drivers!  I'd already shared about my daughter's recent college graduation so I thought I'd give equal time to my son. Public officials w/Foot in Mouth Disease

My little character, FIMM (Foot in Mouth Man) is funny, but when you have politicians trying to set policy, you need to expect a bit more care when they speak. After all, they are using these facts or arguments in order to pass laws that affect the American people. Unfortunately, there is an epidemic of Foot in Mouth Disease among our public officials these days.  Some of them simply don't think before they speak and others just don't seem to have a firm grasp of the facts. How hot is it in ARIDzona?

Boy it's been HOT here in ARIDzona! I've been posting about how hot it's been this summer here in Arizona, but I about laughed myself silly when I saw the day's "high" on my recently installed thermometer.  We found out later that the sensor gets direct sunlight in the afternoons so the reading is, shall we say..."slightly" off.   ROFL   The high that day was actually 114, which is pretty hot, but I don't think it gets this hot anywhere on planet earth! lol However, then, my friend AJ sent me this picture of an Arizona Ice Cream Truck: This is obviously doctored but, hey!  After all, it was just 139!  ROFL For more communication FUN, visit Art of...
