Hardest Part About Being a Mom is Keeping Them Alive?!

"The hardest part about being a mom is I have to keep a human being alive."  Seriously?!  Pretty Wicked Moms is a "reality show" on Lifetime that is not to be taken seriously. However, when I saw the preview for this, the mom in me was highly insulted.  And I think all moms should be...all REAL moms I should say.  Not only that, but I felt as if so many moms I run into on the street these days seem to have taken this line to heart.  My thoughts on the matter: If you think that just keeping your child alive is the hard part, you're not really a mom. Another kind of conflict we sometimes have is when we are sharing or defending our faith.  The Bible says that God commands us to share the good news, yet so many of us are afraid or unprepared to do so.  In today's society where the last acceptable prejudice is Christianity (where Bibles are not allowed in school and announcements of Bible studies are prohibited in the workplace), there is even more reason to be uncomfortable when sharing your faith. So far this Thanksgiving month, we've talked about why it's often difficult to  Praise God in the Storm, what God Says about Being Thankful,  What Being Thankful Doesn’t Mean, some things that will help us to remember in trying to be thankful.  I've given you some  practical advice with tips on exactly HOW to praise God in the storm.  On Monday, I shared what happens to our communication when we are thankful and today  I have a few more consequences of being thankful. 1.
