I posted this several years ago, but I felt it was worth repeating lol...and I have some new additions. It all started a while back when I found an Abraham Lincoln quote: “People who like this sort of thing will find this the sort of thing they like.” It sounded so close to something my dad always says: “This is the kind of thing you like if you like that kind of thing.” I posted them on Facebook and began getting responses that were such great fun like this one: “Where ever you go, there you are!” -I have no idea who originally said this, do you? Which reminded me of a funny message my sister and her family had on their answering...
Have you ever been in a hurry or just plain frustrated to where you were rather curt or downright rude to someone? We tend to do this more with those we’re closest to rather than with strangers. We use harsh words, we nitpick, we exaggerate, and we wound. Sometimes we do it with our children and often we do it with our spouses.
