My old blog is still hosted there and I got the same letter, except with an offer of a free month’s service for my trouble. It impressed me, too, as I’m not fond of them and have been considering not continuing. When I started, it was the only name I knew for this type of service. They didn’t have to do anything, but they did. In this day and age, that’s a good thing.

This is how you handle a customer service issue. They did an excellent job. Unfortunately, their service speaks volumes about their company as well. An excellent handling of customer service can smooth over a great many business ills, but it cannot outweigh incredibly poor service. Though it is a great start toward a better reputation if they do address those issues.
