We screened it with parents and kids before we published it, and the parents thought it might be “too churchy” while the kids didn’t think that at all. The kids made comments like, “It taught me how to stand up to bullies, and how to pray for my class when bad things happen.”

Studying the Word of God and sanctifying in our hearts will help us always be ready to verbalize, with meekness and fear, why we have this hope in our hearts: God is faithful, He’s saved us and He’ll never forsake us.

Very important to know not only what you believe about Jesus and salvation, but WHY you believe it, especially in today’s society where there seems to be a growing intolerance of Christianity with the view that Christians are just ‘’Bible-thumpers’ with no real substance.

You should be ready in season and out of season to give an answer. Why would Christ die for us? There isn’t a price high enough to pay for our salvation BUT CHRIST gave HIS all. Even as there is not one person alike there isn’t one exact way that God works in each of us.

We are to be studying, thinking on, living out God’s Word when we get up, when we lay down, when we go out and when we come in, in the country, in the city and spending much time in prayer…walking and talking with God. Then we will have the right words to say to the people God puts in your path every day…whether family, friends or strangers.
