Oooooooooooooooooo! That was soooooooooooooo interesting! I find it interesting that he developed his public speaking skills in church. It was a much more important place way back then. His “happy” personality was also formed there. Good stuff!

Regarding the development of his public speaking skills in church: It would be nice if more churches developed programs for young people to teach Sunday school to the younger children and even practice teaching an adult class once in awhile. Those skills help one to truly internalize the Scriptures, as well as developing their communication skills. There are those who are terribly shy who would not want to do this, but for some, it is a good way to begin discipleship and be an active part of their congregations. They can then see that God can use them. Thank you for sharing this.

Tammy, I agree. I’ve actually tried to get my studies into the churches. Unfortunately, most were less than receptive.
