Word of the Week: Resolution


Resolution: a declaration of intent to make a positive change in your life on January 1st that you don't intend to keep past February. LOL

    I used to, but I have kept very few over the years. I think I set the goals too big. I was reading about that yesterday. I’ll set a few this year, but call them goals and make them as reasonable as I can. We’ll see if they make it past February. :)

    I saw that too. I’d rather have God set my goals than make resolutions.

    I don’t usually set too many resolutions. Usually I set them too high – and find that for me it’s better if I set little goals for myself all year long. For example to say, “I want to lose 40 pounds this year” is too high a goal for me – instead I started a program called myfitnesspal.com in July and have since lost 25 pounds – 15 more to go. Baby steps…

    I don’t either. I prefer to let God lead me in setting goals as they arise.
