JoJo,
These are great tips. I guess social networking is really no different than “real life.” Treat others as you would if you were face to face.
You can take it a step further, and apply Biblical principles to interacting on social networks. Treat others as you want to be treated and you should do okay.
Thanks for the post!

Good article. I wonder about those Facebook quizzes. Some of them lie. For Instance, I got a notification that someone I knew had a crush on me and they said they never answered that or posted that. I’ve also seen the IQ numbers varying when trying to get you to compete. One day it says someone’s IQ is 90 and another hour later it says it is 150. I think there are alot of false applications. People also send me things for Farmville and Farmtown and I don’t even have one! What I don’t get is why people would follow me on Twitter if we have nothing in common. Are they trying to get me to follow them? I was getting Twitter followers even when I wasn’t tweeting. It’s bizarre. Anyway, these things are great tools if you use them well. I’m glad for social media. I’ve met many wonderful people on them! I’m really glad to have met you!

Wow! I hadn’t seen where they change. I know several people who have had their accounts hacked to where they look like they are sending emails asking if these pictures are you.
