I’ve been asked if the part at the end where the singer says, “I spoke with Him this morning” is an ad lib. I think it is part of the lyrics. Yrs ago while attending another church in California, the choir had a wonderful singer who always sang this song and she always sang it this way.
I haven’t heard this one before. I know the “other” song by this name, but not this one. Great Easter song!
There are actually about three or four different songs by this name, but this one is my absolute favorite.
