5 Facebook Things About Me
All this week I'm talking about social networking with Facebook. One of the things that dominate Facebook are the quizzes and 5 Things About Me! Some people love them and some try to avoid them like the plague. lol But since it is part of the culture of Facebook, I thought I'd do my own Facebook Quiz or 5 Facebook Things About Me.

Not usually. I’ve answered just a couple from friends.3. Do you like the Facebook applications? Have you ever given anyone a virtual flower or gift?
No. I hide them. No time. FB time is for connecting with others.4. Do you use Facebook to meet new people or to communicate with those you already know?
Both – I joined for business, but my “real” friends have found me. :-)5. How many Facebook groups or fan clubs do you belong to? Just a few. Only ones that are important to me, not all the ones friends ask me to join. I don’t have time to check them all out.

I’m a child of God, wife, homeschool mom, author of communication studies, speaker, self-professed goofball & PURPLE LOVER from waaaay back!!All my life I wanted to be a stand up comedian, but I’m getting older now so I’m doing it sitting down.
2. Do you take Facebook Quizzes?
I may post a brief comment on the quiz but I don’t usually take them in the applications or post them in their entirety on my page.3. Do you like the Facebook applications? Have you ever given anyone a virtual flower or gift?
No. I run two businesses and homeschool. I’m lucky to get time to socialize with folks on Facebook. I don’t have time for the applications and I wouldn’t be techie enough to figure out how to use them if I did. lol4. Do you use Facebook to meet new people or to communicate with those you already know?
Both. I use it to stay connected with my dd who is 1800 miles away at college, to keep in touch with old friends and to meet new folks who are like minded.5. How many Facebook groups or fan clubs do you belong to?
Only a few and I’m afraid I don’t get there much. I do run a Purple Fan Club so I have to post there daily. I actually wish Facebook would notify you when someone posted. Most of the groups are inactive so it wouldn’t be too much extra email. THen I could remember to get there and I wouldn’t have to spend so much time looking around to find what’s new.
