The Typwriter Artist!
Paul Smith, the Typewriter Artist, was blessed with an amazing talent and he, in turn, blessed others by using it well.
Originally aired March-April of 1976 on KOIN-TV in Portland Oregon.
Paul Smith, (Sept. 21, 1921-June 25, 2007) was born with Cerebral Palsy, but that did not stop him from living an extraordinary life. Though he had no formal education, he taught himself to use the typewriter in order to make the most remarkable artwork. Here is his Website where you can see more of his art and read more about his amazing life.
Paul Smith typed his art into the forms of animals, trains, American Presidents, other portraits like Mother Teresa, etc. But it is his traditional Christian artwork that intrigues me most.
What an amazing talent the Lord gave this man and how he used it to communicate blessings to others!

I know. I can’t imagine trying to think this up let alone the painstaking patience to accomplish one portrait!
