Here is the Trans Siberian Orchestra's CHRISTmas Canon and On This Very CHRISTmas Night.
What a blessing these people have in store for those who drive or walk by! We haven't put up outside lights in several years due to a bad accident my husband had falling off a ladder the last time he did it. And it can be an expensive way to celebrate this joyous HOLYday, but for those who can do so, it gives the rest of us such joy!

Today's video in the countdown is a one of the most beautiful I've seen. A visual delight as well as a musical one. This is a short ballet to the song Silent Night as sung by Selah. Their rendition is extraordinarily packed with the reverence for the Lord and the video is a sight to behold. What a wondrous way to stop and think on the Lord and what He has done for us. What He gave up for us. And what He continues to do for us. Enjoy this gorgeous video as you reflect on the Lord. Tomorrow I'll have another wonderful video that will help us all keep Christ in our CHRISTmas. Until then... ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ If you...
The 6th Annual Art of Eloquence Video Countdown to CHRISTmas starts today! Music video is a powerful form of communication. We can use it to worship, to express ourselves and to share the love of God. My goal, again, this CHRISTmas is to help put Christ back in our CHRISTmas by sharing 25 of my most favorite CHRISTmas videos with you. This first one is one I discovered last year called Where's the Line to See Jesus? It shares my feeling, and that of many other Christians today, that our society has commercialized this blessed holiday to the point were we don't even know what it's all about anymore. Though there are many Christmas movies during this holiday season, there...
All month long I've been sharing with you how we can become thankful and praise God even in the storm. There is a saying I've seen all month long that gives us some insight as to why: It's not happy people who are thankful It's thankful people who are happy I think I'd change one word of this though. I'd change the word happy to joyful because happiness is dependent upon our circumstances while joy is dependent upon more stable things like the Lord. So here is my version in JoJoism# 370: If we are able to become thankful for the blessings we have even if we are suffering through painful struggles, we will become joyful. That is the...
So far this Thanksgiving month, we've talked about why it's often difficult to Praise God in the Storm, what God Says about Being Thankful, What Being Thankful Doesn’t Mean, some things that will help us to remember in trying to be thankful. I've given you some practical advice with tips on exactly HOW to praise God in the storm. On Monday, I shared what happens to our communication when we are thankful and today I have a few more consequences of being thankful. 1. Others find us more approachable The old saying, "laugh and the world laughs with you; cry and you cry alone" is quite true. Unless you're so delirious with joy that you seem a Stepford Wife, the...
