Art of Eloquence has speech and debate studies ranging from beginner to more advanced and covers specific topics like informal debating on faith (and political issues-coming in 2010!) Art of Eloquence currently has the following speech studies available:
Say What You Mean for Kids: Basic communication course for elementary students who are intimidated by a speech course. Learn the basics of general communication skills while learning to prepare and give ONE speech step by step and week by week starting in week eight. Adorable graphics for extra fun for elementary students.
Say What You Mean for Teens: Basic communication course for jr/sr high students who are intimidated by a speech course. Learn the basics of general communication skills while learning to prepare and give ONE speech step by step and week by week starting in week eight. Very similar to the elementary version but without the graphics and including a section on job interviews which is NOT in the elmentary version.
Know Your Audience: Preperatory or intermediate course between general communication skills and a full speech course. This adorablely creative study helps students learn to tailor their message to various audiences. Perfect for elementary age through senior high as a preparation for learning to tailor a speech to various audiences. Great course to take in preparation for our Say What You Mean: A Creative Speech Course.
Say What You Mean: A Creative Speech Course: This is the speech course even shy kids LOVE! Each week takes the student through a creative topic to speak on. Every other week is a prepared speech and the alternate weeks are impromptu speeches. This course helps your student master the art of eloquence in speechmaking and helps them think on their feet. Perfect for jr/sr high students.
Say What You Mean: Defending the Faith: teaches teens and adults how to share and defend the faith in grace and with respect. This study shows you how to have an informal debate (casual conversation) that helps you answer the most common questions and misconceptions the world has about Christianity and Jesus.

Say What You Mean: Debate: Creative and fun beginning debate course!
