My mom is a clean freak. You could eat off her floors, but she's very gracious. I put things away all the time. I don't like clutter. I also don't like cleaning so I only clean once a week. lol

I was raised by a Felix on steroids! If you took too long getting your food into your mouth, it was assumed you were finished and your plate was whisked out from under you! Everything was being cleaned while you were still using it! I'm afraid it turned me into a bit of an Oscar. I can actually go either way, but Oscar doesn't bother me. I like things orderly, but can live without it. My sister, on the other hand, is a mess. She makes Oscar look like Felix! In the original Star Wars movie, there's a scene in a garbage compactor where things are coming up out of the muck and mire grabbing at them and such. When my mother saw it, her comment was, "Oh, look. . . they filmed that in your sister's room!"

Congratulations to your daughter! You must be so proud of her :)

When my son graduated from college in 2007, the speaker was Doris Christopher, who started the Pampered Chef. I had high hopes for her speech and, like you, was disappointed by it. It was mostly stream-of-consciousness speaking. A wasted opportunity, IMO. Anyways, so happy for you re: your dd's success :)
