Survey: Do You Like Valentine's Day?

There is so much hype about Valentine's Day, but I know several people who really don't like to feel forced to celebrate. It feels too commercial or they feel it's too much pressure to be memorable.  I was wondering if it really did communicate love at all anymore or if it was just a day couples felt they needed to celebrate or their partner/spouse would feel left out.  Do you think Valentine's Day communicates love? How to Communicate Love Part4: How do you know?

Pulling this month's blog series all together, here's what we learned from this blog series so far: Words don't always communicate love, but specific details communicate love more effectively. Actions communicate love. Thoughtful, personalized, and even inexpensive gifts can communicate more love. How do you determine what your spouse considers showing love? Listen! 1. Listen to the comments your spouse makes when he/she receives a gift.  Listen to what they don't say.  Read between the lines. 2. All this month, I'm talking about communication in situations other than making speeches.  Well, today is Valentine's Day and that is an area where speeches aren't appropriate.  Real communication between couples and loved ones is vital to the health of the relationship.
