Attempting to demand friends to what they want instead of asking Getting upset when they want someone to listen while not being willing to listen to others

Not listening to other children, rather making demands on them for friendship. Children also sometimes have processing disabilities which make making friends scary and uncertain as they cannot easily understand certain types of communication..excess slang, for instance. This makes them feel left out and a bit timid about approaching other kids for friendship. This may make them seem shy to others. Often these children are not shy, just don’t know how to process the information needed to make friends. I think I put two in here.

Developing shyness, especially when making friends or being in a new situation
Not easily making or maintaining friendshipsThese are things that I’ve had to work through with my youngest daughter, and feel they are highly important.
