My favorite verse is Matthew 10:19-20, which says: "But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you."

This is my favorite verse because almost everyone is afraid when they are witnessing and a lot of the time it is because you are afraid you are going to say the wrong words.

One of my favorite Scriptures is Joel 2:25 because HE did it for me. Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Blessings, Phyllis

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths."

Psalm 119! I love the entire passage...A couple years ago I was extremely blessed by a Bible study I did with Psalm 119 and Charles Spurgeon's Treasury of David commentary. It truly was life changing!

Hi JoJo! My verse is:
“…that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11

This is what my entire and website ministry (http://www.homemaking911.com) is all about.

I LOVE Laurie's as well, it is one of my favorites for my personal life.

Have a great week!

Well, I have to give two:-)

Luke 1:37 "With God, nothing is impossible."

Jer.29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

These verses are important to me because they give hope, and hope is SO important.
